[Updated Tuesday evening]
The snow is arriving sooner than originally expected, but it might not start until 8 or 9 Wednesday morning.
Schools out my way in the northwest are already announcing closings, but at this point I'm willing to bet my 5¢ on the valley schools trying to get in at least a few hours of class so that you can get out earlier in June.
So better do your homework!
When I was teaching, I used this blog to communicate with my students.
Now I use it to share my photos.

Update on Thanksgiving Storm - School Wednesday

Thanksgiving Storm?
When I was living in upstate New York, it was traditional to have a large snowstorm just in time for Thanksgiving travel. It looks like we will have a pale imitation of that this year. It is too early to be certain, but it looks like the day before the holiday will be messy: a bit of mixed precipitation, but nothing major.

First Snow Of The Year
It looks like the precipitation we will receive Thursday night will contain some snow. So, expect to see some white ground on Friday, but it should not impact school.
The larger storm that might hit on Sunday night - as of now - looks like more rain than snow. Once again, no snow days or late openings yet.
